where to stay

The weekend’s events are centered in Mayfair and Westminster, so we would recommend staying nearby. The most convenient neighborhoods in the area are Mayfair, Soho, Covent Garden, and Marylebone, each offering a slightly different character while remaining central. Below is a brief introduction to each, along with a selection of hotels you might consider.

mayfair

Set between Hyde Park and the West End, Mayfair is known for its quiet streets, historic squares, and proximity to some of the city’s best restaurants and galleries.

Hotels here are among the most elegant in London, with a number of long-standing, grand properties including Claridge's, The Connaught, The Dorchester and Brown's Hotel.

For something with a bit more character, The Mayfair Townhouse offers a more relaxed and quirky alternative.

soho

Soho is one of London’s most energetic neighborhoods, known for its concentration of restaurants, bars, and theaters, as well as its compact, walkable streets.

Hotels here tend to be smaller and more contemporary in style, including options such as the Ham Yard Hotel, Broadwick Soho, and the Soho Hotel.

For something truly boutique, Dean Street Townhouse offers a more residential feel, while remaining in the heart of the bustling neighborhood.

covent garden

Covent Garden is one of London’s most walkable neighborhoods, known for its historic piazza, surrounding streets, and variety of restaurants, shops, and theaters.

Hotels here are varied in style, including options such as Henrietta Hotel and One Aldwych.

NoMad London is also offering a special rate for our guests. Please quote “Nat and Jonothan” if you are interested in making a reservation.

marylebone

Marylebone is central yet notably calm, with a charming, more village-like character. It is known for its high street, independent shops (including our favorite bookstore in London), and cafes.

Hotels here tend to be refined but low-key, including options such as The Langham, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, and The Marylebone.

The Dorset Square Hotel is set on a garden square just beyond the High Street, and is perfect if you are looking for something whimsical and unique.
